Pets interrupting Sims
« on: October 31, 2011, 12:59:37 PM »
For example, sometimes I queue actions on one sim, but then a pet want to play chase and all queued actions disappear.

I have pet autonomy set on high free will, and the pets have the playful trait.

Did you notice that too?
Sorry for my English.

I haven't had a pet with the Playful trait yet, and my manually cued Sim actions are not interrupted by autonomous pet actions.  I can't think of any other reason why your cue would drop like that, but I don't think that's the way it's meant to be, either.

I have seen this a lot when a pet wants to sniff the sim, especially with horses.  I have never seen it with playful pets though.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about.

I'll try changing pets free will from high to low.

In my Dynasty file, the Riffins' hyper dog, Ditz, is constantly trying to wake up Cornell (her BFF) if he's asleep and she's awake. It can be a real pain in the rear if she's not kept busy.

I have a house with my simself family and my dog had puppies all of the dogs (4) and cat (1) are like "Be Brushed". Only Brushed even though they are all playful. It's annoying.. but cute.

I don't think this is the result of the Hyper trait.  Try to develop the Quiet trait by discouraging it from being noisy.

It's not that the dog is making noise to wake up the sim. She's jumping up on the bed and waking him up. The other dog in the household started doing it as well, once she became hyper from chasing Ditz around. The action is called "Wake (Sim) up" or something along those lines.
