How can I create a pool window?

I have tried to create a pool aside from a basement, but for some reason I could not add that basement near the pool because I got a message the pool was blocking the basement.
Is there a new way on how to do this?

You need a Big Basement, say 10x10 put a Pool at a 5x5 at one end, at the wall between the Water and the Open basement you should be able to put Windows. Also if you do an aboveground Pool you should be able to. Build a box, go up a floor and add the pool, then you just place the windows.

I have not tried this since Pets but it worked last time I tried it.

I've tried what you've said, but it didn't work. I got the message: Can't place wall.
Hm, I'm afraid this option has been taken out for some odd reason.

But wait a minute...
One second after I've tried this I have find a workaround way to do it: build a basement, go one level up, build a pool IN that basement. All I have to do next is remove the basement parts around it I don't want.
