Can you sell dogs/cats?

Have they made it so you can sell dogs and cats you breed or can you still only give them for adoption for free like in previous versions? If you can sell them how do you? I can only figure out how to sell horses.

Horses you can sell by riding or guiding them down to the place you do the horse competitions (can't remember the name right now). You can also stud males or impregnate females there, it's pretty cool. To sell, they have to be at least adult though, no fouls.

I wanted to ask this too. It seems like breed is irrelevant unless you want to birth another of the same type. In that case, it's probably easier to buy a pet clone voucher reward instead of searching for the same breed! Since it seems you can't sell them, it's probably more interesting to combine different dog breeds to see what the puppies look like.

I've noticed that any pet in your household can be given up for adoptions.  Doesn't matter age and yes it does seem to be for free.  I was able to see the option when I looked at my Sim's cell phone.  Other than that I can't seem to find a way to sell the big pets.  The minor ones the only way you can sell seems to be via inventory.

According to Carl's new Dog Guide, dogs cannot be sold.  It's probably the same for cats.
