Established fruit trees in edit town
« on: October 29, 2011, 12:30:29 AM »
Does anyone know a way to place fruit trees (mainly apple) on residential blocks that you build on in edit town? I'm building a farm type property and want to place a couple of established fruit trees. I like to build houses without having sims move in, so moving someone in to plant and grow the trees, then move out, is not an option. We get the trees on community blocks and so I wondered if we can do so on the residential ones.

BuyDebug. I assume you know how to enable BuyDebug? If not:

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open the cheats panel.
2. Type "testingcheatsenabled true" without quotations.
3. Press enter.
4. Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open the cheats panel.
5. Type "BuyDebug On".
6. Press Enter.

In Buy Mode a "?" category will open up. Click on the seeds tab. Choose your plant, and place it. If you don't get a tree to your liking (Ready to harvest, if you want Mature), place it and keep placing trees until you have the desired amount of trees, then simply delete the rest.

I think you know how to enable BuyDebug, but I had to cover all bases.

Of course, BuyDebug, thanks Seabody. Been a while since I've done any building and that feature is one that I have never used a lot anyway.
Off to go and plant some trees  :)
