I seem to remember reading about "Declaring Love" in the game...

Somewhere, possibly in Generations with romantic reputations, I remember reading that you can declare love for another. As in, if Phil has 3 romantic interests, he can declare love for one of them, and lose the Romantic Interest status.
My question: Am I going mad, or is this actually possible. If it's the latter, how?

That's what I was thinking, and I guess maybe you got it mixed up, apart from the losing RI status. You can only use Confess Attraction once.

I've never seen "Declaring Love" and my sim has had mutiple romances at the same time. And, "Confess Attraction" is only used to start the Romantic Interest.

If you go under Mean options you can ask to just be friends.

Also, I've been able to confess my sim's attraction for someone to another sim.

I think it's on the Sims Social. I was talking about it on Facebook, and I thought "What if I had two relationships at once?", which led me to remembering about "you have to choose one person, who will get a notice that xyxyxy chose you!".


So should this thread be locked since I have a probable answer?

I think I remember seeing this, too, and I'm not doing the Sims Social. I think I was a Romantic Interest with Holly Greenwood, and I was talking to her husband. One of the Friendly options (I believe) was Declare Love to Holly Greenwood. I'm not sure if it came with the Generations patch or not. (I've never seen it before it, anyway)
