Blank photos

So I bought my sim kid a camera from the consignment store, but when I view his photos, they are all blank. I got the pop ups when he took photos of certain buildings, so that's working, but the photos aren't showing. Any ideas for why this might be? I tried getting his dad to take a photo too, but same problem.

This sounds like the bug that came with Generations that broke the photography skill. It was supposed to be fixed with the patch for Town Life and for me it is. I don't know why it's showing up for you now, pally, have you played with photography since Generations? The photography skill still seems to be bugged a little when any household Sim has an opportunity that they're working on, is this your situation?

Well I just checked, and with no opportunities in the household, the camera still doesn't work. My only thought is that maybe getting from the consignment store did something to it? I hope it fixes itself somehow - I think I'm all patched up, so it should be working. Thanks for the advice though.

I bought a camera in Egypt and still got the bug. I am all patched up. It looks like it isn't fixed for everybody.
