Cant make a custom EA Avatar...

So I have brought my problem to EA Customer service (I think its 5 times now) and have had no luck.

The issue is that once I have uploaded my sim to the sims3 site I do not get the option to use them as my avatar. I have proof that i have gone through the help site and contacted EA support and nothing has changed a thing.

Things I have tried; Using a different browser (Fire Fox, Explorer, Opera, Chrome), using a different computer, and waiting to see if EA will fix it.

Here is a screen shot to help my case as well as a link to the help page that refers to this problem.

Please if anyone can help at all. I would appreciate it.

The Sim you are trying to get as your avatar needs to be a Sim that is uploaded not a household.  They are considered two different categories.  If you go back to the game where you have him, take him to the mirror to Change Appearance (or use the Edit CAS cheat either).  Then you want to select Share Sim.  Upload the Sim like you did the household and then look to see if the use as avatar is there.

Edit: I sent this image into the last 3 Customer service reps and none of them caught that.

Also, I mentioned on another thread that I see that you added your screenshot as an attachment to your post.  The preferred method is to use Photobucket or our own Gallery to host your images and then use image tags to insert them into your post.  Adding a file as an attachment is strictly for our Swap Shop items.  Our Gallery is free for members to use.  Click here for information and instructions.
