Giving life fruit nectar to guests

When you give life fruit nectar to guests, does it extend their life by a day?

Sorry if this is a question that has come up before -- I searched the guide, but couldn't find anything that addressed the subject.

Marian, this is interesting question, but I don't know the answer. Age of other Sims is questionable with aging bug, and the fact that (at least some) Sims that are not living in a house in a town are not really aging (and that is how some of the original Sims can live as long as several generations of other Sims).

Still, I believe that if your Sim friend eats ambrosia and his/her age reset, then other ways of extending their lives should work too, including life fruit in nectar. I'm sorry for not knowing more, and I hope someone else will provide us with more accurate answer.

Thanks, Anushka! I'm not sure how to go about finding out, other than by going into Edit Town, which I can't do in a challenge. And now I have to go over to the DecaDynasty Challenge and find out whether it's legal to give life fruit nectar to a future spouse.

This would be a difficult thing to test, but i think that you could add someone to your household, see their days til aging up, make them move out, feed them nectar with life fruit, move them back in, and see if the days til aging up has changed.
