Changing gender of occult sims

Is there a way to change the gender of occult sims? You can't bring them to CAS with cheating unfortuniatly.

Could you use the science facility to change them back to non occult status then change their gender in CAS then get them turned back into occult Sim. Of course this would only work on vamps not sure about any of the other occults.

Is that even possible with mummies? I didn't know. Not without a mod actually, from which subject won't be mentioned here.
But to answer your question, unfortuniatly it is not possible for IF's, nor even the children of IF's to be edited in CAS. I think EA has restriced editing in CAS for all occult sims. Every single one of them, no exeptions. The only sims that can be re-edited by cheating after birth are pure bred sims.

You can use the dresser and mirror to change IFs but that won't help with changing gender. Of course when a baby gets an IF doll you should click on the option to give it either a boys or girls name so with IFs you get to choose the gender.

Yes, but it requires a bit of work.  You can have the mummy sim sleep in the blessed sarcophagus to turn them back to normal, change their gender, then have them sleep in the cursed sarcophagus to change them back into a mummy.

As far as simbots go, I do believe you get to select the gender after you build the one from the opportunity.  I know of no way to change it afterwards.

Also I didn't know it was possible to change the gender of any Sims? How is this done?
And I didn't know that about IF's I will definitely have to remember that next time.

Occult sims are sims that are a different creature (vampires, mummies, simbots etc)
You change the gender by turning on testing cheats, shift clicking them and choosing edit in CAS.

Just so you know if you use the edit in CAS cheat your Sims age will be reset back to the beginning of their current life stage. So use this cheat with caution.

Yeah, and it will also made your sim get rid of any hidden trait he or she had, which is a way to finding out if they even had them in the first place. Just don't save the sim and nothing had happend.

Hmm, I'm getting off topic in my own post. Let it be an example for you guys, to not do the same.
