Where do you put the dishes?
« on: August 30, 2011, 04:19:30 PM »
When Maxing cooking and trying to do the cook 50 dishes challenge, do you just keep lining up meals to cook and where do you put the dish. Do you keep it in the fridge and then when it goes bad you throw it out. Do you throw it out right away? thanks everyone!

When just cooking for the challenge I'll go to a park with a grills and just start cooking and let my sim put them on tables or the ground and let game clean up the mess. :)
Or if you have the fridge from the Culinary Career food won't never spoil in it so you can keep it all.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

For skill journal challenge, I usually make my sim prepare dozens of autumn salad and drag it to the trashcan or delete in inventory, while in live mod and while my Sim is preparing them. That way I need 2-3 counters and am not bored while he/she is preparing them and they are not accumulating on lot. Same with mixology.

I throw mine out right away, too, unless it's something special worth keeping in the refrigerator.  I just drag them to the trashcan in my Sim's inventory or to a trashcan in the house.

I found that Cheeseplates counted and they are so easy/cheap to make so I made those and threw those away but I kept any of the other recipes because I had the Fridge from the Culinary Career. My Sims eat a lot in my Dynasty though so my food stocks don't last, Lol.

Thank you all! I knew it sounded like a silly question,  I mean what else could I do with them. :D But just wanted to see what everyone does. Thanks again!

I usually keep mine too cause it takes awhile for the food to go bad if you have a good fridge.  That way I know that the other sims will have food when they get hungry.

If you are able to travel you could cook meals at base camp for all your fellow travelers. The food generally gets eaten and if your lucky someone else will clean up after you.
I did this in the cooking and fishing challenge.
