Create a Sim contest.

It's a good idea, although I was thinking on the same lines as Pally. Store does make a difference because it gives an advantage to those who are allowed or can use the Store, which is why I banned them in the Building Contests and only allowed Free Store Items. In which case the Fountain of Youth is out. 

You could expand on the CAS Idea and expand it to Create a Style and Sim Contests where you design Clothes for Sims or outfits etc.

I thought beauty contests weren't allowed here? Correct me if I'm wrong...

It's not a rule per se, but beauty contests are given as an example of the kind of "useless" threads we want to avoid making. I don't think there's anything inherantly wrong with a CAS contest, it's just that the offical forum is bursting at the seams with shoddily run and poorly attended CC fests that attract the wrong sort of crowd. If we organise one official contest with some solid regulations, it would run smoothly and be a lot of fun!

On store content: It does give an advantage, and it's also a bit too exclusive for a contest. Even people who buy Simpoints aren't going to all spend them on the same things. Expansion and Stuff Pack content, on the other hand, is easier to obtain and a lot more widespread.

Perhaps in the future. I have had a lot of requests for contests lately. For now, the only one we'll endorse is the building one. That is not to say this can't happen in the future but you should ask me down the road. Also it's better to ask me and Pam directly if you want something like this, so that we can control when/if it starts.
