This doesn't directly pertain to the story (it's not a chapter), so I'm not posting it with the chapters.
I'd like to share a DecaDynasty Revelation...

If you're still playing this, Seabody...

You could have put that DecaDynasty Revelation here on the Forum in your story thread.  I'm not sure why you routed it through your blog, but it wasn't necessary.  Well, I see now that it's because it wasn't related to chapters.  However, if you're discussing things relative to the Forum, such as issues and suggestions for one of our challenges, I think it really needs to be located here.  If you don't mind.  

Anyway...  your settings for a DecaDynasty need to be Normal lifespan, but you probably know that.

When Pauline got the notice that she would be turning Elder, she can still get pregnant as long as she hasn't actually aged up yet.  The pregnancy will postpone Elderhood as long as necessary.  I've never had a parent die before the child was raised at least to a Teen.  And what about the father?  Is he around?

I thought that once the popup that a sim is going to age up showed up, the sim would age up no matter what.

This is the exact text from my blog:
…Due to my previous age settings (7 days total), Pauline will be infertile. She has cued aging up (to elder) and therefore can’t get pregnant. 

I’ll be adopting then.

Hank is still around, but the issue is he and Pauline are now the same age, so there's no guarantee that he'll be around until the kid grows up.

I don't play this as much as before - I tend to play my Immortal Dynasty, so this is a hiatus, really. I will post updates, though not as regularly.

I learned during a Baby Boomer challenge that the elder birthday will wait until the baby is born.  As an adult, Pauline can still get pregnant.  She'll age to elder shortly after the birth.

Really? I'll jump into my game later and see if Pauline gets pregnant. It's just that every other time she tried, she's been infertile. No chimes. No vomiting. No signs, whatsoever.

I'm back with a little update about a female getting pregnant when she's ready to age up to Elder.  Zelda in my Townie DecaDynasty just aged to Elder.  I discovered that once she gets the notice that her birthday is that day, she can't get pregnant.  She and Christopher tried all day and well into the evening with nothing.  I even gave them the Fertility Treatments and still nothing.  So, yes, the Elder birthday will be postponed for the pregnancy as long as it happens before the announcement on the birthday itself.
