The "getting soaking wet" mood
« on: February 06, 2010, 10:06:57 AM »
Hey all.

playing the WA and doing quest i noticed that when ever i did the "getting soaking wet" option with the water holes, i did not think about it before, BUT why do my sim get a bad moodlet because he gets soaking wet ?

Now going on with this being "soaking wet" with clothes on either be doing it yourself or under a water fight in the hot summer i my self in the real life actually likes being soaking wet with clothes on one way or another. So i just wandered why my sim "thinks" its a kinda bad thing to be soaking wet?

have some of you though about that? And well are there others in here who do some wetlook in there free time?
Hope the topic is not offending anyone :-)

I'm guessing those tombs don't have central heating!

It depends on what you're wearing, but most everyday clothes are not at their most comfortable when soaking wet.  It's not a huge cost to the Sims' mood, but I can understand it causing them some discomfort.

What if it's really cold, but dry in the air, so that you get the shivers?

hmm good points. did not think of that hehe.

but it was also just the point that they to start with get a moodlet in the first place, no matter if its in a tomb. at home in the lovely france and so on :-)

I sometimes just have my sims change into their swimsuits before they have to jump in a well. That way, being wet doesn't bother them.  ;D

I think this came up in another thread awhile back.  Something about they don't get the safety from fire in their swimsuits because they don't have the soaking wet moodlet.

Ugh, I hate that soaking wet with clothes on feeling in real life.  Your clothes stick to you.  Worse when wearing jeans.

Don't forget to undress before getting in the shower. That's my free tip for the day.  ;D

It's not the wearing wet clothes, it's the having to take them off part I hate! (and they don't come off easily!)

I had to do that during Swimming Lessons at school.

Since I've been through the beginning tombs several times now with different sims, I just have them either change into swimwear before jumping in a well or if I know there's a fire trap they're going to have to cross, just stay in regular clothes.  Guess I've been playing WA too much. :P :D
