Uninstalling EA Download Manager
« on: August 15, 2011, 12:26:28 PM »
My download manager is bugged out, so it will not accept patches. I want to uninstall it and reinstall
it, to see if it helps. How does one go about doing that?

Open up the Control Panel and there will be a link to uninstall programs. In Windows 7 it's called "Uninstall a program", in XP I think it's "Add or remove programs" or something similar. That will open a list of all programs on your PC; find EA Download Manager in the list, click it, and choose uninstall at the top of the window.

Edit: Oh and get the new one from here:

I re-installed Origin, but now I cannot get into the game. It says, "Your Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Please update your game via the game launcher." What do I do?
