I play the game on a computer that isn't connected to the web.

I'm afraid that if you can't connect your gaming computer to the web you can't get the patches. Is there some way you can get the patches onto a disc from your internet connection?

1.  You have to reboot your computer before the new patch will take effect because of the change in DRM.
2.  Contrary to what was said above, the patch DOES tell you that any quests in progress will be reset.
3.  I started a new game (deleted the TSM directory in "documents" after installing the patch) and it runs a lot faster and smoother than the game I had in progress.

Installed new patch or made the attempt and it would not complete so since I uninstalled and reinstalled figuring it would update all the way. It did 1 update and when I started the game my knight was stuck. He remains stuck and I followed the Win 7 instructions to the letter to set the cheat to work and I checked and the file & does say 1 and not 0 but when I loaded the game ..it didn't work. I have a Sims Medieval file in documents also and it changed to 1 instead of 0 too. Dk what to do next.
