House Challenges

I'll check it out. The challenges may look bad, but you can get nice things from them. The indian burial ground one puts gems and ores on your lot. The meteor one puts meteorites on it. I got a pink diamond from that challenge.

I only had a challenge once and it was for the plumbing problem, but it wasn't a pre-made home.  I built on a lot and moved in my Sims.  Can't remember the address, but it was in Sunset Valley.

Someone on the EA forum posted pics of a challenge where the house was filled with garbage and had mice running all through the house...the pics were hilarious.

Just recently I moved into the house on "misquito lane" or whatever, it's the house in Sunset Valley with the ponds out front.  Anyway, I got a thing asking if I'd like to do the "infestation challenge", I said no, but my guess is that it's connected to that particular lot.

It was 55 Water Lily Lane in Sunset Valley.  It's called Pre-Fabulous.  I declined the challenge when it popped up and I haven't seen it since then.

Yeah, that is one of the only houses that have been known to have a challenge. Though I have to disagree with you on the statement you said that it is completely random. While it is random on when it occurs, I strongly believe that each challenge can only occur on specific lots.

That does explain why they seem to happen at certain lots.
