When do elders usually die?
« on: September 25, 2011, 03:20:30 PM »
I have five elders and one young adult. Two of my elders had the young adult when they were adults so I expected that all five elders would die when the child was a young adult. I just wanted to know what you guys think is the average age for elders to die. My elders are all approx 175 days old.

Wow, they are extremly old for a game on normal setting, if they are.

90 Years old is the average age for a game on normal, but many people's elders have been up to 120. 175 is the most I've heard of.

It depends on what age length settings you have your game on. From the sound of it, I'm guessing that you have yours on long, so I would say they are going to die at around 190 days I think.

If its a problem, you could always shorten the settings, and check Sim info on their days left. It always feels like cheating to get your way though, since your basically wanting your Sims to die for another reason, like having a baby.
