Making Marble statues

Hello,
   I've discovered a way to make a marble-like statue. Actually I sent Carl an email to inform him about my method before . This is how I do it:
  1. unlock The ice personality challenge.
  2. make some ice statues (statue only, the rest will also work but not in the way we want, I'll return to that later).
  3. place that statue near something you can detonate (you've got to have a sim who can blow things away) and make sure there's a small wall nearby with a fire alarm, that will help save your sim in case of being burnt)
  4. click on the statue and replace it.
  Note:  1. it WILL NOT work with all statues. I didn't find out all of it so why don't you try to find out?
           2. sim Statues will yield nothing but a zero value and cannot be interacted objects.
           3. any ice statues made before unlocking the ice personality challenge will be reduce to water.
           4. ice furniture's, some statues and any other interact-able objects will be replace by a wood version for a certain number of statues, furniture like the chess table will be replaced by the one u can buy in buy mode. The fountain will not be replaced since fire blast won't harm it at all.
   I forgot to take some screenshots to prove it.
   I don't know if anyone discovered this trick before me, though.

    It seems the trick won't work if you let another sim detonate stuff. It should be the same sim who made the statues. it's a Da Vinci decensdant LTW glitch, I think, since you have to master both sculpting and inventing.
    It's wise to place the "detonating" ground well away from the house. having a large lot would be nice. place a few trash piles and the ice statues in the same place and detonate. large trash piles make a blast look like a nuclear explosion. that's cool, yet extremely dangerous if your sim catch fire.

That looks absolutely wonderful! I was wondering sculpting skill did not include marble.

This is a really cool discovery and it's a shame that it stayed unnoticed (at least for the most part).

Definitely trying this as one of my current Sims is pursuing Descendant of Da Vinci. And yeah, I can totally relate to the danger of catching fire. He already set himself on fire for five times. Thanks again!
