Sorry if the title is rather confusing..
My sim had a handiness skill opportunity to fix a stereo and then return it to it's owner. The stereo is now fixed, and I am trying to click and drag it into my sim's inventory so he can take it to his owner but I just can't seem to click it. When I click and drag, the game thinks I have clicked on part of the floor so the option to 'go here' comes up, or it thinks I am clicking on the stereo so 'turn on, work out, dance, etc' are my options. I just can't get the stereo into his inventory!
I checked with other items (dragging them into the inventory) and they all work as normal, it's just this stereo that refuses to move.
Do I have to invite the owner round or something? This is so annoying, and the opportunity has been there, uncompleted, for weeks.
