When returning from China nothing comes back with me in my family inventory?

Has anyone else returned from travelling and had none of the things they purchased in their inventory> Also any ideas on how to fix it?

Yeah, that and more would happen to me all the time when my Sims traveled. You can read about it here:

I seem to have fixed it by installing from disk instead of download but I'm not sure that would help someone else. Traveling can be buggy and the best advice seems to be to save before the trip so you can go back if the bugs are too annoying.

Thankyou PJsim. I am just so frustrated with it all at the moment. It would be good it I didn't care about it so much. I will look at the link you sent. Perhaps the huge patch I loaded with my last reinstallation did more harm than good.

I've had this happen recently as well.  Some of the missing items such as the martial arts equipment can be purchased through buydebug, so at least you don't have to do without.

It started for me with patch 1.22.  And yes, everything you're missing is in BuyDebug mode, so you can look there when you get home.

Since the patch said that it had fixed it, I decided to test it to see if it works. The newest patch does work, so you should still have items in your family inventory- when you get back from a vacation!
