Screen Freezes (Mods/CC Related?)

So, I had a Legacy in Sunset Valley. I then recieved AMB & LN, so I decided to move them to Bridgeport. Ever since, I am having problems with game stability. It is only this game and it usually happens when I double click on something (Like Sharing a Memory). It is really annoying me as I am getting like, three Sim-weeks in, and then it will crash. I then press the start button, and I have to restart my whole computer. Also, Loading Bridgeport is very slow. I might have to scrap this Legacy, and start again, If I am unable to resolve this problem.

Any help is acceptable. I am not going to be mean and say it is rubbish advice

I had this problem too -- it actually turned out to be a piece of bad custom content that wouldn't work with the newer expansions. If you are using CC, try taking your 'mods' folder right out and see if that's the problem.

I suppose that only helps if you're using custom content though.
