Sims 3 please help! -disc authentication failure-

Hi I have just bought bundles pack Sims 3 and sims generations. It installed fine and I played it for an hour turned computer off went to play it again and disc authentication error came up?? I returned the disc and got a new 1 and same thing happened!!!

I have windows 7 HP and have a good enough spec pc for the game.

P.s I have tried the dla fix and It didn't work as couldn't find the dla tab!!

I've had this happen on my Mac more than a hand full of times. All I do is exit the game and start again, then it works. Sometimes the Disk Authentication error comes up twice but never more than that. I've never actually considered taking my game back and getting a new disk because a restart of the game fixes it for me.
