After installing the latest Patch and Generations I have noticed all my icons in my EA, Sims3 downloads folder have changed. They are no longer the plumbob green icon. They are all pieces of white paper with a folded corner and in that Downloads folder I now have a few more icons. One is my email address followed by .bin msi.bin nav.bin
Also exports are pieces of paper for the icons. Actually I am looking in my Sims3 folder at the moment and I notice saves, saved sims are pieces of paper.
I have deleted the 4 cache files and DCBackup, restarted and no change. Has this happened to anyone else using a MAC? Maybe this is the reason for some of the errors.
Contemplating a reinstall or just changing the sims folder to sims back up to see if things will correct? Any suggestions?
