Monarch can't listen to evangelist preach

I've tried going to the forest at different times and the evangelist never gets up on the stand to preach.  I've made sure the monarch is highly focused and the opportunity to *listen* is never available.  She isn't allowed to get up on the evanglist box either.
Has anyone been able to accomplish this, and how?

Its a glitch....you have to enable cheats and skip the step, its the only way to get through the quest. Carl details how to do this in his cheats section of the medieval guide.

The quest got broken in the patch, Gael.  LMCali is right.  The only way past it is to skip the step.  It's annoying.

Thanks, you're right.  I skipped over that part. That cheat doesn't always work immediately for me, though...I have to ctrl click by the meter again and again to make it hop.

I had that problem too.  I just had to keep clicking until it worked for me.
