Imaginary friend doll a new magic gnome?

Whenever my sim goes to sleep or leaves the house eg. to go to school her her imaginary friend turns back into a doll on the floor, then comes back as an imaginary friend when my sim wakes up or gets home...

anyway so after she went to sleep the other night I noticed the doll two or three times did that thing gnomes do "poof" and appears somewhere else in a different pose!!!
