Work hours different?

I just started my first-ever Bridgeport Law Enforcement sim, and his hours as a snitch are noon til 5.  Every other time, my sims have always gone to work from 9-3 as a snitch (which is also what Carl's guide says it should be).  Anyone else experience this or have an explanation?

Goat, this has been posted about before. I believe the explanation was that the work hours were adjusted to suit the club needs - late nights and parties can't happen for a Sim that works certain hours.

Thanks!  I did a search for this, but lately my search results for the forum have been leading to dead links.  Not sure what the problem is. :(

Carl installed a SMF Mod that made links prettier, but also messed up the coding somehow. He removed the mod.
Now, links like www.carls-sims-3-forum.com/sims-3-general-discussion/babble-thread will not work.
