Wizard Can't Prepare Spells

I have 3 different kingdoms and 3 different wizards. Every one of them tries to prepare spells according to the things needed for each (by studying spell) and they always get the 'unable to prepare spell'. Am I doing something wrong, here?  At least one of the wizards has reached a higher level (I think level 5 or 6). Grrrrrr

You've never prepared any spells?  So it's not that you've been questing, and you have two spells existing from the same rune combo?  Or that you've prepared too many spells and you need to forget some?  That is pretty odd.  This may be a silly question, but... you have been making sure to put the three spell runes in with the exact order, right?  It does make a difference.  Beyond that, I couldn't imagine what is going wrong.

Heh, no problem.  The wizard is one of my favorite heroes, so it'd be sad if you couldn't get yours to work out.
