I would like to add, that you can also get whale meat, if you choose to harpoon the mermaid in that random event, while patroling on the sea.
Also the correct name and ingredients for Unicornucopia: 1 Unicorn meat, 1 Bear meat, 1 Boar meat, 1 Venison, 1 Rabbit meat, 1 spices and it provides a +75 focus buff for 24h hours.

Carl, for the oven there is also a "rations" recipe that is good travel food.  I am not sure is more than the knight can make it.

I've noticed if you have an oven AND a regular pot type stove, you'll almost always be given the option for the oven recipes over the pot ones.  Might be a good idea to have an oven in the Great Hall kitchen and another type in the Throne Room kitchen.

Strange question.  When I start out my monarch's "stove" upstairs has a pot and the ability to cook there.  After the first ambition is completed it changes to just a fireplace type with no pot and no ability for cooking there.  Anyone know why and can it be changed back?  Strangely enough the servant CAN cook there though.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Glad you were able to use the info Carl! I'm getting kind of hungry too. I'd like some Unicorpia. Does that make me a bad person? :-)

Joria, the same thing happened to my fireplace ( no cooking pot) except they can use it. It's really funny to see them stirring into nothing!

My game is the same way.  I bought a fancier fireplace to replace it because it looked so silly ;)

Then it happened again when I completed my second ambition.  Besides reverting back to the original fireplace (which I was expecting), the pot was missing again.  Please note I chose a different throne room for the second ambition.

If you decide to sell the strange fireplace, it will tell you it is a 'potless' fireplace.

Also, does anyone have a clue about where to get a haunch of meat?

Meat Soup                      1 Haunch of Meat

It was for the Meat Soup. It says one haunch of meat. I think this differs from the boar, bear, venison, or rabbit meats. Maybe it's something you find hunting or on an adventure?

Hello all,

mccoymk, I too was wondering where to get a 'Haunch of Meat' for this recipe.
Tried everything (hunting repeatedly, village shoppe ..) to no avail.. It was driving me nuts!
And now, finally found!

I'm currently playing the Animuslaver quest (Approach : 'take care of it')
and my Knight (Lvl 10) got 2 of those after the action 'Hunt with Animu'.

I don't know if and hope that there are other ways to get a Haunch of Meat..
But thought I should share this one!

It is the same thing.  The opportunity to feed the beast, requires a haunch of meat.  Any of the red meats will work. :)

This is true, any meat works. Typically I feed the beast fowl meat, its cheaper & he doesn't seem to notice a difference :] Once I have acquired a haunch of bear meat from hunting in the forest. I found only a single recipe for the haunch of meat.. which is okay for me! && As far as pocket food for your heroes, Deer Jerky for the win!
