I got my sim to the top level of cooking now, and I realised that some of the foods I know how to cook isn't showing up when I try to cook them (and yes, I know some foods only appears at a certain time of the day) but some if them really arent showing. For example, I've been waiting all day for the Fruit Parfait to show up (I also know this is on the Desert area) but it doesn't know up at all.
Maybe there's an opportunity I have to do first or a bug/glitch? Help?

The guide says fruit parfait isn't on the desert area, so I looked in the game again and realised "peanut butter and jelly" isnt on the list either here's more that aren't showing up:
-Autumn salad
-Hotdogs
-Cheese steak
-Sushi

First, make absolutely sure you are checking to make something only when it can be made. For example, Autumn Salad is Lunch/Dinner which means it won't show up at 9am — only at Lunch/Dinner times.

If money isn't tight for your Sim, then try deleting the fridge, saving and exiting. Then buy a new fridge the next time you play.

First of all, Fruit Parfait is a breakfast item, not dessert.  As for the others, I'm a little unclear what you mean by "not showing up."  Do you mean you don't get the option to prepare that dish when you click on the refrigerator?

I made this clear on my 2nd message that I already found out fruit parfait isn't on the desert list. What really annoys me is that fruit parfait is one of my sims' favourite food.

HAHAHAHA. You've made a point of clicking the fridge when cooking and I've been clicking the stove all these time. I looked again on my list and realised most of the food in the list doesn't actually need a stove to make. Stupid me.

Lol, you're not stupid, I have done that too many many times. One way to "fix" this is to always click on the fridge. Since every food requires getting something from the fridge, every food available at that time will show up if you click on the fridge, whether you need the stove or not.
