I have began the quest, and I'm at the part where it says to get the Royal Pardon from my Royal adviser. Usually he is in my castle, but since I began this part of the quest I haven't seen him anywhere. I waited around in the castle for 2 days and nights and still nothing. Then spent the next day and night searching my kingdom. Any advice?

If the Royal Adviser shows up in your hero's relationship panel you might be able to put a marker on him. Click on his picture and select "Turn Sim Marker On". If he's hanging out in the Village Shoppe you won't be able to turn the Sim marker on for him. Other than that, my advice is to keep hanging out at the castle, he has to show up for work sooner or later.

You could try the messenger post 'invite' action and see if he shows up in that list - again, if he is in your hero's relationship panel he should.
