Ancient Ruins glitch?

I am playing this quest and I've run into a problem. Both wizard and merchant have a query mark for the next stage of the quest but when I click on it nothing happens, for either hero. The merchant had it first and I thought it was because she had got slightly ahead of the wizard, so I played catch up, but now he's in the same situation. Anyone else come across this or have any ideas what I can do? Thanks in advance.

This happened to me too, and I just saved the game and shut it down.  When I started it up again, I could click the question mark and it worked.

You're very welcome - glad it worked!  I have found as I've gone along that quite a few glitches are solved by doing that, whether it's a quest task that won't clear once you've done it or something like this.
