Help with Turning off Celebrity (Post update 1.50) (Solved)

I was wondering if there was away to turn off all the celebrity stuff for the whole town, with Nraas's StoryProgession mod, or maybe MasterController?

After both mods were updated with update 1.50, the way you turn off Celebrity stuff changed.

I know I can have my household opt out of Celebrity stuff, but I'm hoping to do it for the whole town. As I don't like dealing with any of the Celebrity stuff at all.

I think you can turn off celebrity for the whole town with the new controls, just as you can turn off the supernaturals.  Doing so won't remove any celebrities that are already in the game, but it should keep any new celebrities from appearing.  During the brief time I had LN reinstalled, I didn't notice any celebrities (until the controls somehow got changed, don't ask me why) but paparazzi kept popping up everywhere anyway.

Turning story progression off does it too. A few months ago I started a new game, turned aging and SP off, and it wasn't til a week later while trying to find and get turned into a vampire, I noticed none of the life sates were there and neither were celebrities! Turned SP back on a couple days later the town was flooded lol. Turning SP off though doesn't allow the town to progress so I don't do that very often!

I knew of the opt out of the Celebrity System. But neglected to look closer to find the options right in front of my face, to turn off celebrity for the whole town. *Blush* No mods needed.

Hubby and I did some testing of those options and found with options set and story progression turned off, it seems like no one is a celebrity.

If playing an older saved game it will just hide the things that are turned off. Though you'll see who's a celebrity via the relationship panel.
