How to Build a Backyard Koi Pond

My Sim would like to build a Koi pond in their backyard. He went to China and caught some Koi fishes, went home, built a pond (even decorated the pond with some water-lilies) all the while thinking he could put the Koi fishes in the pond and breed them there. Unfortunately, I found out that having Koi fishes and building a pond does not necessarily mean one can raise Koi in a Sims' backyard. When the Sim inspected the pond, only the usual fishes like minnow are available in his backyard pond.  The Koi cant be placed in the pond , not at all.   :)So how does one do a Koi pond at home? Thanks for your help!

Hello Athena,

To stock a pond:
You need to have 10X the fish in your Sim's inventory. (so here, 10x each Koi fish type you want to add).
Then, the Sim can click on the pond and you should see the option stock pond.
Click on this and choose wich type of fish you want to stock your pond with.
