Features appearing in my game that weren't there before

The following things just appeared in my game
- Star Signs
- Ability to make groups
- Ability to make fountains
- Half walls
- Different patterns

I have the expansion packs Ambitions and WA.
I used to have my launcher set to update automatically, but two days ago I moved all my Sims stuff onto another computer. Today it asked me to update it manually, and afterwards it showed up.

I'm just confused as to why I all of a sudden have all these features when I've never seen them before. I thought they were features of Late Night, but I don't have that installed and never have.

They are features of Late Night that were made available to everyone with the first LN patch.

Patch 1.17 was released the same day as Late Night, October 26th, 2010. The latest patch (1.19) was released on February 2nd, 2011.

That's really odd then... it never appeared in my game today, and my computer has been automatically updating up until 2 days ago.
