Heir to effonmont glitch
« on: May 10, 2011, 01:13:59 PM »
I have a problem with this quest. My spy has been hanging around the bodyguard for two days waiting for him to talk to someone so he can eavesdrop. But all the bodyguard does is read books or play cards, it's like he's on some sort of loop. Should I restart the quest? Or has anyone else had this problem?

I know this has come up elsewhere, but I'm not sure what thread it was.  Chrissie, if this is a 2-person quest (I think it is, if memory serves), then have the other hero on the quest talk to the bodyguard so that your spy has a conversation to eavesdrop on.  It seems a little odd to be eavesdropping on the person you're doing the quest with, but it works.

Thanks Schip, that a clever idea. I'll try it.

You're welcome, but I can't take credit for the idea.  It was shared by a member in the other thread I mentioned.  Hope it works for you!

It did work thank you. I found the thread after I'd asked. Sorry for repeating.
