Guide needed for game mechanics- moving out and in and loss of items

Dear Carl and team,

I would very much like to read a guide that details what happens with each of the possible household moves- ie when the family inventory will be overwritten by the moving in person, what will be lost and what should precautions should I take when I change the active family and what happens with merges and splits of households.

I love your guides so far.
