Jacobean Priests (computer controlled) do hold services

I just got annoyed with my "lack of faith" debuff on my current hero so I went to the Jacobean church (the only one I have at the moment) to convert and - lo and behold - when I entered the church (it was 1:05 pm with services set to me at 1 pm when I manually played the priest) - there was an ongoing service. I got the option to "Attend Jacobean Service" or something similar when I clicked on the priest and doing so sat down for the duration and received a nice buff afterwards.

From what I've seen, you can click on any member of a religious community and convert your active sim through them.  I know my knight did this through a Peteran acolyte who was also his betrothed.  I know my Peteran priest has a friar and an acolyte.  My Jacobean priest has an assistant of sorts as well, so there are a few of them wandering around.  Goodness knows they don't do much but wander, especially those Peterans!   :P

I've seen my peteran priest do services on her own as well but she wasn't as dedicated as you priest. She was 15 minutes late to the 8am service, talked for about 5 sim minutes then ran off to go gossip with the friar. I was underwhelmed :-\

That must be why my popularity drops any time I've not been playing my Peterian Priest directly.
Left after one quest with popularity nearly 3/4 ... came back after doing some quests on my smith, and pop was back to 0  -- friggin slacker

I have not yet observed my Peteran priest to hold services. But she does evangelize till she drops. :)

Cool buff but I think there is a catch or something with the peteran priest and his popularity. It seems impossible to max it out, don't you agree?
