Same Quests, New Monarch, Quest for the Weary, is it me - Apologies shouting

Hi,

I have just finished the initial ambition and I thought wahoo, some new quests, so I went into "Quest for the Weary" and it asks for a new monarch, which I thought was odd and then when I went into quests it was the same list as the new beginnings.

Is it just me or am I expecting too much!

Is my game not working properly?  Can anyone explain this to me?

Why do you have to make another monarch and wont it be a little boring doing the same quests ie Bandit, etc all again?

Please help, I'm just about to give up.

First, welcome to the forum.  Yes, unfortunately, they are going to be the same.  I have noticed that there are a few new quests here and there, but it makes a difference in the outcome, depending on what hero you use.

Could you please change your title to lower case letters.  It just looks as if you are screaming and it really is not appropriate.  Thanks.

A lot of the quests have different options where you can play them using different heroes or even the same heroes but with a different approach. Yours quests also depend on what heroes you currently have in your kingdom, so if you build your buildings in a different order or build ones you didn't get a chance to last time you will likely do some different quests. Another thing that effects what quests you get is how high your aspects are, so if you build those up in a different order you should also see different quests. There are more quests than you can possible do with just 50QP so even if you have the same options at first you should also have ones you haven't done yet.

Also don't forget about annexing new territories! That will give you new quests.
