Fountain Quest Question

I am suppose to fight make an enemy and draw blood (condensed version) and I can't seem to do this. I have different NPC's that are Not Friends but even if I fight them or degrade them I do Not get any option to "draw blood" (to offer to the fountain).

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Are you doing the quest with the physician?  I'm trying to remember back, but I think she/he has the option to 'draw blood' from a patient.

I am playing with my Knight. She has the Bloodthirsty flaw.

The Prima Guide says "Fight with a nemesis" - and I have tried and tried to Fight with friends as well as enemies - no luck getting "blood" fir an offering to the well.

Did you declare your enemy a Nemesis?  I remember arguing and fighting with an enemy of my hero's then an option came up to declare her a Nemesis.  That might be the step you are missing.
