Entire Game Corrupted Can't Even Start A New Game

Today when I started The Sims 3 and started a game it said a serious error had occurred, but I could see the people which normally doesn't happen when a game file is corrupt. It normally has a little outline of a man woman and baby. The only difference today and other days when my save file is corrupted now I can't even start a new game. It says a serious error has occurred loading the world such as Sunset Valley I have had this problem before and had to system restore my computer. I was hoping maybe I could find a solution without having to. Thanks for everyone's help. ;D

First thing I'd do is check if your game disk is scratched.
If not, do you use CC or Mods?

I don't really have to use a disk and I do have cc because of the exchange but I can't remove all of it, and thanks for inviting me

You could try moving your Sims 3 folder (the one in Documents) out to your desktop.  The game will generate a new one when you restart.  If that fixes it, you could then try adding back your save files (after quitting the game) and see if it can load one.

Wow! I'm in shock I had no idea that you could restore your game like that, the headaches I could have avoided if I had known about that lol. Thank you so much.
