I've just had a go on The Sims 3 demo, powered by Gaikai, via the link, in box number one of the slide show at the top of the
official EA Sims 2 website.Interesting demo. I saw the game as a lot of you see it on your pcs with the higher end graphics cards. Serious envy. Couldn't get over the shine on things that should have a shine, how the metal looked like metal and the leather sofa was brilliant. I even saw fish in the ponds in a whole new light. Yep, serious envy, think I may have to start saving up for a pc.
During the demo, there were different opportunities to be accepted, different as in different to the ones that normally come up during game play - I gave Christopher Steel my heart, aww - I felt more like I were on a Sims Medieval quest, than accepting an opportunity. I was quite disappointed when my bandwidth speed dropped after just 15 minutes.
So, if you're here on the forum because you're considering getting TS3 and are wondering what it's like then the demo gives a brilliant introduction but be warned, if you have an integrated graphics chipset, the game will still be brilliant, but it won't look as good on your computer.
