While Octavia was enjoying her second pregnancy her girls were growing up.

Frankie grew up looking a lot like her paternal grandmother Ilianna. She hated her hair colour and like most teenagers decided to experiment with her hair colour.

Her dad was not too happy with her clothing choices but Octavia convinced him that it was just a phase she was going through.


Freda grew up looking just like her mother.

Freda decided to go for a more understated wardrobe.



Next time we find out if the new nooboo is a boy or a girl  and romance is in the air.

Octavia enjoys listening to her husband play his guitar under the stars. The fact that he plays his guitar with no top on is just an added bonus.

Octavia and Parker have to be one of the most loved up couples I have ever seen. They do this sort of thing all the time of their own free will.

Octavia:Honey,great news I am pregnant.
Parker:I love you!

Parker:So when does this childbirth class begin?
Octavia:The lady should be here soon.
Parker:I am not sure that the baby will be able to come out if your sat down like this.
Octavia:Shush,I know what I am doing.
Parker:Yeah right you didn't even know you were pregnant last time until you were at the hospital.
Octavia:(Glares)
Parker:I am just saying.

Parker:Yeah who d'man,I got a son I rock!
Octavia:Sweetie look I can totally see my nose when I do this.
Parker:Honey,I don't think those child birth drugs have worn off yet.
Porter:Hello,diaper change anyone?

Romance is in the air.

Sam:I was like  Pops I bes joining the music career yo cause that's how I roll.
Frankie:Whats with the street talk.
Sam:When your from the hood this is how a brother talks.
Frankie:You do realize that you are wearing a man cardigan.

Frankie:Now lets stop being silly and start talking like sensible grown ups.

Before the end of the night Frankie and Sam were going steady.

Ethan:Your eyes are like big pools of midnight I could get lost in them.
Freda:(giggles) tell me more.
Ethan:Your beauty shines like a beacon you light up my world.
Freda:Oh Ethan!

At the opposite end of the park Freda and Ethan also start going steady.

Little Porter has had his toddler birthday.

Parker popped up a lot of wishes to interact with his son. He is definitely nominated for father of the year award.

Parker:Come on little man,walk to daddy.
Porter:No!
Parker:Come on you know you want to.
Porter:No!
Parker:This is going to be a long day.

Parker:Who is daddy's clever little boy then.
Porter:No!
Parker:Somebody needs to learn a new word.
Porter:No!

Parker:Can you say over dramatic.
Porter:Surely Mama or Dada would be a more appropriate first word for a toddler.
Parker:(Shocked)What did you just say!
Porter:Ur No!
Parker:I must have been hearing things.

Parker:There is a good boy going on a big boy potty.
Porter:You do realize I am still fully dressed and that I am pooping into my diaper right now.
Parker:There you go clever boy.
Porter:You aren't listening to me are you.
Parker:No!

We end this chapter as we began with another birthday.

I read this and I'm afraid a bark of laughter erupted from my lips so suddenly my husband across the room jumped.  Great story and Happy Birthdays Porter!  Grats on the new young couples too.

You represented the mysteries that are toddlers very well, Rachel! Ah the joys of little ones learning the word "no".

Toddlers do find 'no' to be such a fascinating word for a while, don't they?

I'm not sure what I think of Porter's parakeet bangs, but they do make me smile.

Thank you all for reading. The toddler saying no was inspired by my 19 month old who has adopted it as the word of the week.  

This will be a short update. I thought I had taken lots of pictures but apparently I didn't.

It is birthday time again. Octavia decided to throw her girls a young adult birthday party at the grind. This turned out to be of a nightmare as my game went all buggy. The taxi carrying the birthday girls to the party froze for two Sim hours. Then for reasons best known to themselves all five of the Khalid's turned round and went back home again. The party started at five and they all finally got there at eleven. The guests were not too upset though we invited both Ethan and Sam to the party and they got to blow out birthday candles and age up too.

Here are Frankie and Freda about to grow up. At this point most of the party guests had given up and gone home.

This is the day wear that Frankie aged up into and I decided that it suited her so I kept it.
