Moods from Vampires at Work
« on: February 07, 2011, 12:32:44 PM »
Not sure if this is out here on the forum already, I did not see it, if it is please let me know. Has anyone else noticed that when our normal Sims (not Vampire) go to work or out from their home, their mood bar drops considerably whenever they are around a vampire?  I am finding this in Sunset Valley more so than in Bridgeport.  It is quite irritating to say the least to try to keep you Sims mood up when they encounter a Vampire (not at your choosing) and all of a sudden the bar turns orange and their faces get all sad and angry looking. Just wondering if it is my game or if anyone else has noticed this.

Thanks

It's the Hunted moodlet, which appears when a Sim is near an unfriendly vampire.  It lasts as long as both are in the same area, but I don't think it's very strong, maybe about -10.  Maybe your Sim was barely in the green to drop into orange like that.  Either you have to make your Sim a vampire or befriend all the vampires in town to not have that pop up again.

No, I have had the hunted mood come up before, this is when my sims go to work (totally in green before they leave) and their mood bar all of a sudden starts to drop while they are at work. Once this happens, their mood will go down drastically even when they leave the house and get in a taxi.. Thanks for the thought though!

It has been mentioned in other threads before, but I think a current bug is might cause this if your Sim is sleeping in a cheap bed.  The recommended solution in that case has been to buy a more expensive bed, then save your game, exit out, then start it back up and it should be taken care of.

Irish: What are the traits of your sim? I don't know how much the Over Emotional trait will influences the Hunted moodlet, but it still could be a trait issue.
