[BUG] Sims won't knit

I got to the part where the Sim uses materials and money to  start the knitting process, but he can't go any further than that.  When I try to get him to do it, it won't enter his action queue; same applies to frogging the knitting project.  Any help?

This looks like it's a known bug.

A possible work-around is to purge all unfinished projects from Sims inventory and try again.

However it seems trying a project again may not work unless you have the time to work the whole project in one sitting.

You might be able to gift ?? the unfinished project someone mentioned in the thread.
