New Expansion: For Rent (Launches Dec 7th)

Is anyone else excited about the latest expansion announced two days ago?
I watched James Turner do an in-depth look at the trailer and it looks like so much fun!

Playing as a tenant or landlord in a world inspired by Southeast Asia (Thailand) looks fabulous.
And imagine the new foods!

Haha, I'm usually a skeptic about new releases, but I've already pre-ordered!
Color me optimistic!

I can see this one leading to some hilariously chaotic games.
The girl with the bleach white hair has obviously gotten closer with someone-- one of the screenshots shows her thinking about a baby rattle!
@scoed will be happy to see it's not the southwestern US!

I think this is going to be a case of "I didn't know I wanted that."  Not something I thought of at all, but I think it will end up being a lot of fun.

I agree that this looks like it's going to a lot of fun!
I'm currently playing a 10-gen legacy challenge where I pulled one generation out of different existing legacy challenges.
But I'm thinking of replacing a future gen with an original one that's all about the For Rent gameplay.
There are some very attractive sims in the trailer as well!  (No, not the dabbing dude, lol!)

I wonder when @scoed is going to get on this pack.  They're always so good at compiling all the information about new content.

@oshizu I don't think I will be able to compile all the information this time. I just got promoted at work and am busy doing my new job while taking the mandatory online courses my new position requires. But this is a good thing. I have effectively doubled my pay. But the Sims will have to take a back burner until the courses are over and my work schedule gets more regular. I hope you understand.

@Brian_Z I am so excited for this Asian world. We need more international worlds. But I am even more excited about the story possibilities of multi family homes. A love triangle  in the apartment halls. Moving out while having family live next door. The evil landlord spying on her tenants. An abusive tenant taking advantage of a kind harted landlord. The stories are endless.

Also 5 new traits is a record. And a senor only trait is exciting. I may have to play an elder for the first time in quite a while. Two new activities for kids is greatly appreciated as well. We can't for get the cool new mold death. I collect ghosts after all.

This is the pack I never knew I wanted but definitely do. Looks a little light on gameplay but the stories made possible are beyond cool.

The new expansion pack looks amazing.

A new world and it's set around where we've been touring! I've become a big fan of the Night Markets in Singapore & Australia with the wide choice of world foods and buzzing family-friendly atmosphere.

I've managed to avoid using that new style of toilet - I'm not sure my knees are up to it, lol.

Pre-ordering as soon as I get home!
