Error While Loading - Security Certificate?

I don't know what's causing the launcher not to open quickly. I don't use it unless I'm installing a .Sims3Pack file and then it opens normally for me.

ok, thanks anyway, I know that having files installed can slow it down but nothing was installed, I think to be on the safe side once I'm done testing, I will just do a complete un-install and re-install of the game and EPs/SPs and then install the superpatch. I'm thinking it might be because I had my anti-virus turned on as that always seems to slow the launcher and game down a little bit-which is why I usually play offline and turn it off. I still appreciate the help.
