Dine out chef disappearing

I'm Using Carls dine out mod. Every time I open the restaurant all 3 of my workers show up. But then my chef vanishes. I've hired a new chef. I have tried talking to the chef before they disappear. My only fix at the moment is to remove the mod sadly. Can anyone help?

Are you using the free mod or are you using the Patreon testing version? You might have to post this question on his Patreon site. I have alerted him to this thread.
