Sims 4 Save Files
« on: February 07, 2023, 05:32:56 AM »
Hi,   I have an issue with my sims 4 game the saves games won't load I did have an error message  de4ee14f:29f00e:00000000:4b0d852b,  and I did a search as I had moved my sims 4 from my c drive to my d drive as it's a terabite drive and I needed more space.   My game was working fine for a while and I converted to ea app and when I went to play my game on the app I had to load all my packs everytime I loaded for a while.   Now the game comes up like brand new and my save game file doesn't show as I have lost all my sims.  I hope you can help otherwise I will have to start all over again and I have had to do the twice already.   Should I try to go back to origin page and not use the new ea  app.

thanks

Fiona

I don't know how to change my dxdiag.txt to a file that will load can let me know what I need to do if you need it.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on with your game and why it can't read your save files. If they are in your
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves and look something like:

For example:
Slot_00000002.save (Main/Newest Current Save)
Slot_00000002.save.ver0 (Backup 0) - Newest backup to the main save.
Slot_00000002.save.ver1 (Backup 1)
Slot_00000002.save.ver2 (Backup 2)
Slot_00000002.save.ver3 (Backup 3)
Slot_00000002.save.ver4 (Backup 4) - Oldest backup

Things should be okay.

When I search the error number it takes me to a answers.ea thread that says it's possibly an incompatible mod issue.

It's suggested to test your mods.

And if that doesn't work. Try repairing the game.

If none of the above work, you may try posting on answers.ea Sims 4 Tech Help for further help.

Give as much detail as possible along with anything you've done to troubleshoot the issue.  They may ask for a dxdiag. The article linked below from EA Help shows how to get that info.
