Relationship changes from HSY
« on: September 29, 2022, 12:50:12 PM »
Is there any way to disable/adjust the relationship settings? I get this message...even with a married couple that I created in CAS. When I had them try for baby, I get this message: "I'm flattered, but I am not interested in that type of relationship with you. But I would be happy if you would like to be friends!"  They're married for heaven's sake! I'm not happy at all with this new "relationship" thing they have going on. Will Abigail have to divorce James and find a different man-sim that wants her?

Hello Jude! *waves
That message you saw suggests that you need to edit their Sexual Orientation settings, which you can do by clicking on a mirror to Change Sims.
Check the "Romantic Interest" and "Woohoo Interest" (these are not the exact names of the settings but I'm not in game right now), changing them to match their partner's gender.
For a heteronormative couple, for example, set the wife to:
Romantic Interest: Men
Woohoo interest: either "Men" or "Men and Women," but not "Women" only.
Hope this works for you, friend. :D

What great news that Abigail and James will live happily ever after!!!

Makes finding romantic partners more difficult, but I'm enjoying the new Sexual Orientation feature.
