Alien Abduction

Hi, I'm wondering if there is always the animation of the sim being sucked up into the spaceship for the abduction? I have a sim who became alien pregnant, but I never saw any abduction animation and the camera certainly didn't loop to him when it happened. Can they be impregnated any other way? I kept my eye on him almost continually as I'm *trying* to build his charisma and queuing up conversation after conversation w/only minimal time away from him to take care of other family members.

I have heard of it happening after Try For Baby with a female alien, and that may have been a bug.  Otherwise, yes there should have been an abduction.  Never heard of it happening without one of those things happening.

It really is weird! He never tried for a baby w/any alien and as I said, there was no animation of him being sucked into the ship. I believe it was a glitch.
